No, Far from it!

Soap recipes can vary a great deal, creating different qualities in the soap.

At Ledgeway Farm we use the cold process method of soap making using a formula that maximizes the amount of raw farm fresh goat milk used, resulting in at least 1 oz. of goat milk in every bar.  In addition to goat milk, we carefully select other ingredients that give us the perfect qualities we are looking for in soap.  Those qualities include a hard, long lasting bar with great bubbly lather and wonderfully moisturizing results leaving your skin feeling smooth and silky.

Using natural and/or organic ingredients that are responsibly sourced  is very important to us.  We do not use palm oil, dyes and artificial colors, preservatives, phthalates, or paraben in our formula.  Just a good clean bar of goat milk soap that you and your skin can feel good about!

Psoriasis/Eczema:  Customers have given us great feedback of how both Oatmeal & Honey and/or Activated Charcoal has been very effective in relieving both psoriasis and eczema symptoms.

Acne/Rosacea:  Activated Charcoal draws impurities out of the skin, and our Activated Charcoal bar of soap has given stunning results in helping with acne and rosacea.

Dry/Itchy Skin:  Any of Ledgeway Farm’s goat milk soaps will be helpful in relieving your dry or itchy skin.  All of our soaps are formulated with wonderfully moisturizing qualities.

Sensitive Skin:  If your skin is sensitive, or you have allergies to specific essential oils, I would recommend our unscented pure and natural bar.  This soap has no scented oils and no colorants added, just plain, unscented pure and natural soap.
