Ledgeway Farm Goat Milk Soaps: About Us!

Welcome to Ledgeway Farm, where things are always buzzing with activity, no matter the season. Living and farming in the beautiful state of Maine bring its own unique set of challenges, especially during the cold winter months. But we thrive on these challenges, seeing them as opportunities for growth and innovation. As a family-owned business that produces goat milk soaps, we have been fortunate to inherit a rich farming heritage, passed down through generations.

Goat Milk Soaps

The experience, ingenuity, and determination of our family have been invaluable in navigating the ups and downs of farm life. We rely on their unwavering support and strength to keep us going, quite literally sometimes, as we travel far and wide, spreading the goodness of our goat milk soaps. Without our incredible G.O.A.T family, we would find ourselves in quite a bind.

Join us in this blog post as we share stories, insights, and a glimpse into the heart and soul of Ledgeway Farm.

A Glimpse of Us!

Ledgeway Farm Family

Meet our incredible tribe! While not everyone is captured in this picture, allow us to introduce some of the key members of Ledgeway Farm.

First, there’s Dad, sporting a red sweatshirt, who serves as our anchor. Living right next door, he is always ready to lend a helping hand, even before knowing the full extent of the task at hand. From digging water lines to building award-winning concession stands and creating innovative soap-making tools, he has added a wealth of skills to his “retirement” resume.

Then there’s Mom, likely found in the soap studio, who has become a packaging pro during her retirement. She effortlessly wraps bars, picks and packages orders, and prepares us for shows like a seasoned professional.

On the right, with the impressive beard, is our son, Ryan. He knows that the ultimate Mother’s Day gift is cleaning out the barn and handles the task with enthusiasm.

Behind Ryan, you’ll find our daughter, Meg, working alongside her husband Ryan (who is always ready to transport a trailer or two). Meg specializes in product development, with a focus on keeping your lips healthy and happy.

At the head of the table, we have the adorable Scarlett, who possesses a natural talent for sales and could very well become a YouTube sensation someday.

Our dedicated sister, Cathy, may be chained to a desk elsewhere, but she is the finest bean counter in town since Gram’s time.

We also have Matt, the one wearing the Carhartt hat, who eagerly awaits the day when there won’t be another project around the corner. His tireless work ethic is truly invaluable, and we simply couldn’t do this without him.

Two more vital members of our team, Matthew and Amber, cheer us on from Georgia and play a crucial role in product testing.

Together, we form a tight-knit team, each bringing our unique skills and dedication to Ledgeway Farm. We are honored to have such incredible support and expertise within our tribe, making our journey in the world of goat milk soap all the more fulfilling.

So this is us, Ledgeway Farm, specializing in handcrafted, wonderfully moisturizing goat milk soap – and keeping it all together with our tribe.

Conclusion

At Ledgeway Farm, we believe in the power of being genuine and staying true to who you are. Our journey is not just about creating exceptional goat milk soaps, but also about fostering a community where everyone feels valued and accepted.

So, let’s celebrate individuality, embrace the beauty of nature, and always remember to love and appreciate the incredible tribe that surrounds us. Together, we can make a difference and inspire others to do the same.
